What is CABMR?
CABMR is an interdisciplinary research and knowledge-mobilization center that connects academic and industry expertise to address complex economic, managerial, social, and cultural issues. We conduct and support applied research designed to generate actionable knowledge and inform evidence-based decision-making.
Our Approach to Applied Research
Our approach brings together perspectives and methods from economics, management, the social sciences, the humanities, and the creative arts. We work across disciplinary boundaries and engage with organizations and practitioners to translate research and expertise into practical knowledge, evidence-informed strategies, and meaningful impact.
People
Phillip Cartwright
Director
Phillip earned his Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He has studied music at Berklee College of Music and dance at the Stanlowa Institute. He has held positions at the University of Georgia, Imperial College, INSEAD, and Paris School of Business, and is currently a Visiting Researcher at the Royal College of Music and a member of the Improbable Research Group at ESCP Business School. His research interests include quantitative methods, performance science, and the philosophy of the performing arts.
Natalija Riabko
Associate Director
Natalija Riabko is an economist, market expert, researcher, and lecturer based in Paris. She holds a DBA in Applied Economics with highest honors from Paris School of Business, as well as degrees with honors in Psychology and Sociology. She is a Professor and Member of the International Advisory Board of the Trocadéro Forum Institute, where she contributes to Executive Education, interdisciplinary academic initiatives, and international partnerships. Her research and teaching focus on sustainable and green finance, ESG, international markets, and sustainable governance.
Delphine Perrot
Creative Director / Art & Design
Delphine Perrot is a visual artist, creative catalyst, and art director whose interdisciplinary practice bridges art, design, education, and performance. She develops projects exploring movement, visual expression, and cultural narratives, helping individuals and organizations conceptualize and bring creative ideas to life. Her international experience spans Paris, London, Rio de Janeiro, and Buenos Aires, with collaborations including the ICA, Design Museum, Icon Magazine, Research Studio, and Studio Myerscough. Her practice brings together visual arts, design, education, mental health, and dance, with a focus on creativity, experimentation, and meaningful engagement.
